Reporting by Bethany Shady

SUN VALLEY, ID – Sun Valley resident Igor Stripski, 29, was arrested on Thursday after a long investigation into his financial history finally came to a close.

After two years, federal agents were able to discover just how Stripski was able to embezzle a total of $36,000 from a national charity.

Stripski stated in court, "I had wanted to change my name since I was a child. I never thought about the ramifications, because I honestly liked my new name. But once the first check came and I deposited it into my checking account, I knew I was addicted. More and more checks came, and I couldn't stop myself!"

The federal court system has sentenced "Mr. Leukemia Foundation" to pay a fine of $200,000. Likewise, he will be forced to change his name back to Igor Stripski.
